Key Fob that goes to my Toyota Camry?
I have a toyota Camry and the Key Fob with the alram and door lock buttons hasnt been working. We have changed the battery twice and it still doesnt work. Will i be able to get just a new keychain fob if it is broken? Around how much might it cost? I did call the dealership and they put me on hold 3 times and would eventually get disconnected.
It could be the FOB and it could be the receiving unit on the car.
A new FOB can cost ~$150. The receiving unit is more and is something a dealer probably should handle. Does a second FOB work?.
What has happened to me is that a button gets stuck in the down position. When I released it by moving it slightly to one side, the FOB began working again.
