i just wonder because i have found several instances of international news that never make it into the US news reports on CNN, Fox, CBS, NBC, ABC, etc...
so how much of the freedom of the press has/ or is being eaten away today? is it really 'free'?
The US press is as free as their employers and affialiates allow them to be. Their focus is quite narrow in order to satisfy local audiences. BBC World is the best source of international news. I live in Canada and have friends and relations in California, England, and Kenya. I use the internet to get the news I need.
